Fall Fashion Trends in Las Vegas

Don’t let the skeptics fool you. We DO experience fall in Las Vegas. Oh, sure. The weather dips to the 70s and there aren’t many leaves on our desert ground, but still…. We have a change in our weather that we locals do consider fall-ish. I mean, it’s enough to make us all break out our most impressive fall fashion trends in Las Vegas. And, that’s all that matters!

Because Vegas isn’t an ordinarily cold weather location, our fall apparel is always light and lightly layered. One thing is for sure, though: it’s never out of style. Here are the fall fashion trends in Las Vegas that you can expect to see.

Baggy Bootcut Jeans

After a long, hot summer, Sin City locals and tourists get excited about wearing jeans again. Baggy bootcut jeans are destined to be a popular fall fashion trend in Las Vegas because they are comfortable and camouflage any pandemic pounds that are still lingering. Plus, they just look cool, especially if they feature any strategically placed rips, holes, and signs of distress.

Saturated Hues

After spending so much time indoors, the world is ready to parade like a peacock. This means bright colors, saturated hues, and stunning tones.  As a Las Vegas makeup artist, I’m super happy to see this trend come to life, but I also think visitors coming into town for EDC and Life is Beautiful will be glad to see this as one of the fall fashion trends in Las Vegas. So, if you’re planning to mix and match lavender with rust or marigold with bubblegum pink you can definitely get away with it in Vegas.

Primed Prints

Listen, there is nothing conventional about Las Vegas, and if you’ve been loving the hodgepodge of bold prints seen on the fall fashion runways by designers like Louis Vuitton and Simone Rocha, there’s no better place to sport these looks than here. We invite you to compete with the neon signs on the world-famous Strip! Mix and vary your most favorite vibrant prints because this is a hot fall fashion trend in Las Vegas, and everyone is welcomed to the party.

Y2K

No, you’re not having a deja vu experience. I just recently blogged about Y2K makeup and feathered brows as a Las Vegas Beauty TrendsI’m seeing everywhere, but today, let’s talk about Y2K apparel.

Whether it’s beauty, fashion, vintage tech, or collectible memorabilia, Y2K is back, alright? According to The Trend Spotter, “Some of this era’s biggest influences include Carrie Bradshaw, Bratz Dolls, and films like The Matrix and Mean Girls.” So, if you’re looking for inspiration, there you have it.

When the pandemic first hit, so many people forced to work from home were begging for the return of the velour tracksuit. Were you among them? You’ll be glad to know your wish has been granted. And nowadays, you’re not limited to Juicy Couture. I’m seeing velour track suits at Forever21, Macy’s, and even Amazon. The lesson here—this fall, let your fashion freak flag fly in Las Vegas. We embrace your creativity, and after the year we’ve had, we all deserve the opportunity for self-expression and amusement.
