Las Vegas Beauty Trends Seen Everywhere

One of the best things about living and working in Las Vegas is that I get to see everything! After all, my town plays host to everyone—from Californians looking for a quick weekend trip, to typical fun-loving US domestic tourists, to well-cultured international travelers. It’s not uncommon to see a mashup of stunning style on the Strip. Right now, these are the Las Vegas beauty trends I’m seeing all over Sin City.

Fresh Skin

Now that the population is getting vaccinated and Las Vegas visitors are more relaxed about mask-wearing, women are eager to show off their skin. There’s a kind of pride in defeating the attack of “mascne” we all encountered last year. Those who won the war want to tell the world about it. Who can blame them? This is why a focus on fresh skin and clean beauty is really popular in Las Vegas beauty trends. Still, a full coverage foundation isn’t going anywhere. Those who continue to wear it, however, are choosing a more natural look. Going by the term demi-matte, this minimal foundation application mixes dewy with semi-matte for a natural-looking finish. Expect this Las Vegas beauty trend to stick around a while, whether the mask-wearing continues or not.

Cut Crease Eyeshadow

Magic is a big part of what makes Vegas the entertainment capital of the world, and that’s no different when it comes to Las Vegas beauty trends. That’s why I get really excited about cut crease eyeshadow.

A cut crease look is a sort of optical illusion. The crease of the eye is heavily defined while the lid remains neutral, creating a cutout appearance, which comes off super dramatic and gives the illusion of huge, doe-like eyes.

For those moments when you are restricted to wearing a mask, your cut crease eyes will continue to make a statement. Additionally, if you’re headed out for a night on the town or have a special event coming up where you’re hoping to make a splash, I highly recommend experimenting with cut crease eyeshadow. When you sport this look, you are destined to steal the show!

Stained Lips

Lips are back. The beauty of stained lips is that you avoid lipstick smearing across your mouth, which often results from wearing a mask. That’s why I think I’m seeing this Las Vegas beauty trend all over the city.

What you want to do is apply multiple coats of lip stain, but blot between each application. Set aside your creamy lipsticks for now, and start investing in lip stains.

Fluttery Lashes

Think as high as a skyscraper. Look, it doesn’t matter if you choose to go with falsies, extensions, or a lash lift, the goal is to wear lashes that flutter, flatter, and make everyone fall at your feet.

You’re probably familiar with fake lashes and extensions, but lately, lash lifts are becoming a big deal. They are like a perm for your lashes, keeping them curled and lifted sky-high for about four to six weeks. Maintenance is so minimal and easy compared to extensions, and they look phenomenal with the next Las Vegas beauty trend on my list.

Y2K

You read that right. Twenty-one years after the world entered a new millennium, the fashion and beauty aesthetics of that time have returned. In particular, I’m a fan of the resurgence of feathered brows. Aim for light and fluffy, while respecting the natural shape of your eyebrows.

In my opinion, the reason this Las Vegas beauty trend is gaining momentum is that it complements dramatic looks, such as cut crease eyeshadow or stained lips. Feather brows are just easy, understated, and look good on everyone.

So whether you’re planning a Vegas vacation or already call yourself a local, consider incorporating these Las Vegas beauty trends into your personal style. You’ll look modern, updated, and ready to win big.
